Summary:

Over eight-to-ten weeks, the Summer Internship program is a paid multidisciplinary program designed to complement your classroom training and career goals. The program is designed to introduce qualified and talented students to the many facets of a growing insurance brokerage and the industry as a whole. Interns will get opportunities to participate in a wide range of (in-person or virtual) networking and social opportunities across NFP community. Throughout the program interns will work towards a final project, drawing on their experiences across the three product segments, culminating in a presentation to NFP Leadership.

The Intern will be responsible for providing day to day management support to the team members along with performing a variety of administrative work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

• Provide support and assistance to the department
• Assist in performing day to day management of existing client programs
• Provide team members sales support for the acquisition of new customers/clients
• As part of the team, the intern will attend periodic outside meetings with partners, client groups, carriers, etc., along with team members when required
• Perform a variety of routine work such as furnishing information to authorized persons and maintain data
• Other duties as assigned

The hourly salary range for this position is $18 to $24. The hourly salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the hourly salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
