As a People Operations Associate, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations and work closely with our People Operations Manager, Talent, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to HR strategy, systems building, and cross-functional collaboration, while helping to deliver a seamless employee experience.
What you'll do:
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, documentation, and system access.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, benefits systems, and internal tracking tools.
- Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
- Support HR compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Help develop and maintain employee policies, handbooks, and documentation with People Ops Manager.
- Screen incoming HR correspondence and escalate time-sensitive matters to People Ops Manager.
- Coordinate recruiting processes and help ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition.
- Assist with reporting, audits, and data hygiene for operational accuracy.
- Support company-wide people programs including performance cycles, engagement initiatives, learning opportunities, and recognition programs.
- Help organize our annual company offsite (previous locations: Tokyo, Dubai, Hawaii).
- Build scalable People Ops systems, templates, and workflows.
Skills and Experience:
- 1–3 years in People Operations, HR, or related operations role.
- Startup, tech, or high-growth experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).
- Familiarity with HR tools and systems (HRIS, performance management).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with PEO (Justworks) and benefits administration a plus.
