We are seeking a People Operations Coordinator to join our People team in New York. The People Operations team helps protect the firm’s largest investment, our people. This position will support the U.S. HR and Talent Development teams with exposure to multiple areas across the employee lifecycle including onboarding, day-to-day operations and supporting our early career talent initiatives. This position will interact closely with cross-functional teams including Talent Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, various internal business leaders and external vendors.

What You'll Do:

  • Split your time between our HR and Talent Development teams, supporting the operational needs of each while bringing the same rigor, attention to detail, and drive for continuous improvement to both.
  • Find friction and automate it away. Proactively identify gaps, manual touchpoints and process inefficiencies, and use technology and AI to eliminate them.
  • Keep information clean, current and accessible. Maintain meticulous data entry and reporting in Workday and internal tracking systems, build and analyze feedback surveys, and keep data organized.
  • Build strong working relationships across People Operations and partner teams  –  Recruiting, Workplace Services, Tech Services and others  –  to execute seamlessly across both functions.
  • Serve as the face of onboarding and the first People Operations point of contact for new hire questions. Continuously improve the new hire experience, (from interns to experienced hires), across every touchpoint: orientation, Workday, benefits enrollments, mentor introductions, education sessions, community events, and recognition moments.
  • Own the administration and process coordination that keeps the HR team running – organizational changes, employment verifications, relocations, performance review cycles, and terminations.
  • Act as the operational backbone of our early career and professional development programs. Manage end-to-end logistics for intern and new grad cohorts and New York leadership and development programs, including the speaker series, from pre-start coordination through offboarding, with responsibility for scheduling, participant communications, materials preparation, feedback collection, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

Skills You'll Need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in talent development, program coordination, campus recruiting coordination, HR operations, or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and challenging existing workflows to drive operational efficiency.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively across all management levels, functions and regions whilst maintaining discretion around confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, complex environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and resilience, who is reliable and willingness to manage ambiguity.
  • Experience using AI tools for tasks like consolidating and analyzing data from multiple sources, creating visualizations, and building operational efficiencies.
  • Prior experience with Workday or other major HRIS platforms is preferable, and prior experience working with early career or campus recruiting programs preferred.
  • Healthy sense of humor and enthusiasm for working in a high-performing and global team.
  • Reliable and predictable availability.
