OVERVIEW

We are a boutique insurance agency specializing in affluent and highly successful clientele.  We are looking for an Account Specialist to create long-term, trusting relationships with our highly successful clientele.  The Account Specialist's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers.  The primary function of this position is to meet the overall insurance needs of our customers. In this role, you will liaise with our internal teams and our partner companies to provide prompt, accurate, timely and courteous service to our clients, as well as maintain a positive customer experience.  If you are familiar with insurance agency management systems, have a flair for client communication and understand consumer behavior, we’d like to meet you. Ideally, candidates for this role will enjoy a fast-paced environment while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged.  

Responsibilities
•    Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
•    Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
•    Service assigned portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts for clients new home and car purchases, renewal account reviews, endorsement requests, cancellations, etc.
•    Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
•    Re-market accounts when appropriate
•    Maintain client activity in the agency management system
•    Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement and account rounding
•    Remain current on knowledge of coverage, policy forms and rates to effectively address customer’s insurance needs
•    Collaborate with our team and maintain good relationships with carrier underwriters and any partner staff

Skills
•    Proven work experience as a personal lines Account Manager
•    Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
•    Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
•    Strong verbal and written communication skill
•    Active Property and Casualty Producers license
•    Ability to work well with others
•    Solid experience with Agency Management software (AMS 360 preferred) and MS Office

Skills
•    Proven work experience as a personal lines Account Manager

•    Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail and follow agency workflows
•    Strong verbal and written communication skill

•    Solid experience with Agency Management software (AMS 360 preferred) and MS Office

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
•    AMS360 management system experience
•    Working knowledge of management and quoting systems for company partners (Chubb, PURE, Cincinnati, Berkley One, Travelers, Hanover, etc.)
•    Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point and the internet

Compensation: The base salary range for this role is $75,000.00–$85,000.00 annually.  Actual compensation will be based on factors including location, skills, experience, and internal equity. Cross Insurance offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, paid time off, and more.
