Implement, integrate, and modernize Ping Identity IAM solutions supporting SSO, MFA, adaptive authentication, authentication policies, and identity workflows. Automate administrative and operational tasks using Ping REST APIs, Python, and Bash. Integrate Joiner-Mover-Leaver processes with identity sources and service providers, and migrate legacy applications to OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and SCIM. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and security teams to deliver reliable IAM orchestration at scale.
Position Overview
Idenhaus Consulting is looking for a PingOne IAM Engineer to support our customer’s implementation, integration and modernization of enterprise identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. We are seeking someone who has strong knowledge and experience around the Ping Identity Platform including PingOne, PingFederate, PingAccess, and PingOne DaVinci along with a solid understanding of modern authentication and authorization protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure reliable orchestration at scale
- Implement and maintain Ping Identity solutions for seamless SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication.
- Develop and maintain authentication policies, selectors, and adapters to support complex user journeys.
- Leverage PingOne DaVinci to orchestrate low-code identity workflows and integrate third-party security services.
- Utilize Ping REST APIs and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate operational tasks, monitoring, and administrative functions.
- Support Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes by integrating Ping stack components with upstream identity sources and downstream SPs.
- Collaborate with App Owners and Security teams to migrate legacy applications to modern protocols (OIDC/OAuth 2.0/SAML2.0/SCIM).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IAM or a related security engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity/PingOne solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PingFederate and PingAccess
- Experience migrating legacy from authentication technologies to modern IAM protocols
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure automation practices
