Key Responsibilities 

Architecture & Design: Define and maintain the overall architecture of the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. 

Technology Strategy: Evaluate emerging technologies and propose strategic adoption to improve the platform ecosystem. 

Platform Development: Guide engineering teams in designing microservices, APIs, integration layers, and platform components. 

Cloud & Infrastructure: Design and optimize cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.). 

Security & Compliance: Ensure the platform meets security best practices and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, SOC, GDPR). 

Performance Optimization: Monitor platform performance and recommend tuning strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. 

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (product managers, developers, DevOps, QA) to align technical solutions with business needs. 

Governance: Establish architectural standards, coding guidelines, and platform governance processes. 

Documentation: Maintain architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation. 


Required Skills & Qualifications 

12+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3+ years focused on platform architecture. 

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services. 

Experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures. 

Proficiency in API design (REST, GraphQL) and integration patterns. 

Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). 

Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 

Knowledge of distributed systems, data streaming, and event-driven architecture. 

Familiarity with security frameworks and best practices. 

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in large-scale, multi-tenant SaaS platform design. 

Knowledge of serverless architecture patterns. 

Familiarity with big data and analytics platforms. 

Certification in AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or equivalent. 


Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 64,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 224,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
Medical, vision, and dental benefits, 401k retirement plan, variable pay/incentives, paid time off, and paid holidays are available for full time employees.
This position is available for independent contractors
