Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator (ERA) — New York City (In-Person Position

Help power the engine behind NYC’s most active startup tech accelerator. ERA is an early-stage venture fund and technology accelerator (eranyc.com). Since 2011, we’ve invested in 375+ companies in nearly every major industry with the support of , 1,000+ mentors and alumni. We’re looking for an exceptional Platform Associate to make our programs run flawlessly and help founders unlock the full value of the ERA platform.

Why this role matters:
You’ll help founders achieve their primary goal: how to build their companies faster. You’ll help design great founder experiences, orchestrate mentors and programming, and connect portfolio teams to the resources that change their trajectory. If you love a fast-paced environment, high ownership, and daily contact with founders and investors, this is it.

What you'll own:

  • Deliver world-class program experiences. Own scheduling, logistics, and communications for workshops, mentor 1:1s, office hours, and Demo Day prep, so sessions start on time, the right people are in the room, and founders leave better than they arrived.
  • Activate the mentor network. Maintain an accurate, searchable database; match founders with the right experts at the right moment; measure engagement and impact.
  • Run high-leverage events. Plan and execute gatherings fromfounder roundtables to larger ecosystem events. Manage venue, run-of-show, speakers, partners, post-event follow-ups.
  • Be the portfolio’s first call. Field requests from 375+ companies and route them to mentors, perks, partner benefits, and ERA staff; track needs and close the loop.
  • Recruit the next great ERA cohort. Support top-of-funnel sourcing, candidate communications, interview slots , and selection operations. Interview founders alongside the rest of the ERA team.
  • Build the platform. Improve our community systems (CRM, mentor/portfolio directories, perks library, job board), document playbooks, and ship process upgrades that scale.
     

You are:

  • Relentless and resourceful. You solve problems quickly and keep moving.
  • Operationally excellent. Organized, detail-obsessed, deadline-driven; you thrive where the tempo is high.
  • Clear and effective in communication. Strong writing and verbal skills; great with stakeholders from first-time founders to senior investors.
  • Tech forward. Comfortable with using modern software platforms. Familiarity with with AI tools a plus.
  • Team-first. Collaborative, low-ego, hungry to learn.
  • Startup-curious (or experienced). You follow tech, venture, and the NYC ecosystem.
  • Experience: 2–4 years in operations, programs, community, events, or similar. Accelerator/startup/VC exposure is a plus.
     

Tools you will likely touch:

Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion, Zapier, Slack, Zoom, simple CRMs (e.g., HubSpot), and event platforms like Luma.

What we offer:

  • Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base (commensurate with experience)
  • Benefits: Full-time role with full health benefits and 15 days paid vacation
