Position Overview

This role can be based remotely in the US and UK.

We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Product Owner / Business Analyst to own all ServiceNow platform decisions related to Data Center Operations. This role serves as the primary authority for how operational workflows are designed, governed, prioritized, and evolved across the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in FSM, TPSM, and ITSM, understands how these modules intersect in real‑world operational environments, and operates with minimal day‑to‑day direction. In this role, success is defined by governed, scalable, and reliable operational workflows, a clearly prioritized enhancement roadmap driven by true operational value, and a ServiceNow platform that is trusted as a core operational system—not just a ticketing tool—across Data Center Operations, Facilities, and Technical Platform Services.

Essential Job FunctionsData Center Operations Product Ownership
  • Act as the end‑to‑end Product Owner for ServiceNow operational capabilities supporting Data Center Operations.

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and long‑term evolution of ServiceNow for Data Center Operations, Facilities, and Technical Platform Services.

  • Serve as the single point of accountability for operational use cases on the ServiceNow platform.

Platform Governance & Decision Authority
  • Own governance for all operational platform decisions, including workflow design, module usage, and data standards.

  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Development teams to identify overlap or conflicts across FSM, TPSM, ITSM, CMDB, and adjacent modules.

  • Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow best practices while supporting always‑on operational environments.

Business Analysis, Financials & Business Case Development
  • Identify new operational capabilities and continuous improvement opportunities in partnership with Operations leadership.

  • Build business cases, cost estimates, and value assessments for proposed enhancements.

  • Support budget planning and prioritization through clear articulation of operational value, efficiency gains, and risk reduction.

Backlog Management & Prioritization
  • Own and manage the operational enhancement backlog.

  • Clearly define and communicate must‑have versus nice‑to‑have requirements.

  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for operational workstreams.

Cross‑Module Expertise & Integration Thinking
  • Apply deep knowledge of FSM, TPSM, and ITSM to design end‑to‑end operational workflows.

  • Identify and resolve data, workflow, and ownership gaps across modules.

  • Ensure CMDB and operational data integrity support reliable service delivery and reporting.

Stakeholder Leadership & Enablement
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Data Center Operations and Facilities leadership.

  • Lead working sessions to drive process alignment, standardization, and governance.

  • Support adoption through documentation, training input, and release communications.

Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in ServiceNow Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Platform Lead roles.

  • Deep, hands‑on expertise with ServiceNow FSM, TPSM, and ITSM modules.

  • Experience supporting data center operations or infrastructure‑based services.

  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal daily instruction in complex environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting global or multi‑site data center environments.

  • Familiarity with CSDM and operational CMDB models.

  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA and CIS (ITSM, FSM, TPSM).

Additional Information

  • Travel Requirement: Up to 10%, with potential adjustments based on business needs.
