About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an Associate or Assistant Vice President to join the iCapital Solutions team, specifically focused on platform partnerships. This position will play a key role in managing and developing our current third-party partnerships and will also work closely with senior members of the Platform Partnerships team to uncover new growth opportunities and prospect new relationships within the wealth management industry. 

This is a critical, technical role focused on the delivery and ongoing support of iCapital’s full suite of technology solutions, spanning alternatives and structured investments to the independent wealth channel and enterprise partners.  This individual will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of our company’s strategy in establishing strategic partnerships that extend access to and further embed iCapital as part of the wealth management ecosystem. 

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in management and growth for existing strategic partners, including wealth tech platforms and client reporting partners.  
  • Represent iCapital externally, delivering exceptional service to wealth tech partners and wealth management firms in support of iCapital’s integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the company to drive strategic initiatives and partnership implementations. 
  • Lead platform and system demonstrations for new prospects and existing partners, and lead responses to RFPs and partner diligence requests.
  • Assist in outreach for new prospects, collaborating with senior members of the platform partnerships team on business development strategy.  
  • Drive process improvement by analyzing key performance indicators to uncover growth opportunities and measure success.

Qualifications

  • 3-6+ years of experience in financial services, preferably in a business development or relationship management capacity.
  • Experience with digital partnerships within wealth technology, private markets, or enterprise technology sales is a plus
  • Direct experience working for or with wealth management, wealth tech or fintech firms is highly preferred 
  • Knowledge of alternatives and/or structured investments is preferred 
  • Experience with SAAS offerings, the wealth tech ecosystem, and platform integrations (e.g., single sign-on, APIs, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills with direct experience in servicing clients 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills  
  • Strategic mindset and ability to work independently 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects with little to no oversight 
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or financial field preferred, MBA or Graduate Degree is a plus


Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $100,000 to $140,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, generously subsidized healthcare with 100% employer paid dental, vision, telemedicine, and virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited paid time off (PTO).

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
