Monitor daily solar plant performance, manage alerts and O&M cases, process O&M expenses in NetSuite, schedule preventative maintenance, support compliance and onboarding, assist RFPs and special projects, and collaborate with operations managers and O&M partners to improve plant performance.
Nautilus Solar Energy’s Portfolio Operations Analyst will be responsible for supporting the management and operations of Nautilus’ generating portfolio. Using web-based monitoring tools, the Portfolio Operations Analyst will ensure Nautilus’ solar sites are performing optimally. This position reports to a Senior Portfolio Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of Nautilus’ solar power plant performance.
- Manage and document plant alerts and cases for follow up.
- Organize and process O&M expenses through Netsuite.
- Schedule and manage deliverables of preventative maintenance inspections.
- Work closely with Nautilus’ Portfolio Operations Managers and O&M partners to continuously improve plant performance.
- Support completion of compliance reports for management and financing partners.
- Assist in new plant onboarding including document management, data entry and validation.
- Support Special projects as needed.
- Support RFP processes and analysis for 3rd party Operations and Maintenance (O&M) partnerships.
- Support the development of tools, procedures, and business relationships to help decrease Nautilus maintenance costs over time.
- Support compliance with applicable warranties.
Requirements
- 2-year degree required, technical degree highly preferred
- 1 year minimum of relevant solar management experience preferred.
- Strong Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work hours 8am – 4pm EST and periodic on-call weekends for site monitoring
- Ability to work effectively remotely with different levels and functions of the organization as well as with external parties such as banks, lawyers, customers and contractors
- Ability to work independently in a team-oriented and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to undertake complex tasks
- Project oriented with a goal to complete assignments on time
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
