Who are we hiring?
The Post Producer serves as the central owner of post-production workflows, providing structure, clarity, and accountability across all internally resourced video projects, including brand spots, sales advertisements, partner-driven digital series, and long-form storytelling. While not primarily an editing role, the Post Producer brings deep expertise in professional editing platforms, media management systems, and post-production infrastructure. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient post-production workflows, troubleshooting technical and editorial pipeline challenges, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through emerging tools, automation and AI-driven capabilities. They partner closely with Producers to ensure smooth handoffs from production into post, and with Editors to maintain consistency, troubleshoot challenges, and keep projects on track.
What will you do?
- Design, implement, and maintain post-production workflows for large video projects, including brand spots, sales advertisements, partner-driven digital series, long-form storytelling, and all delivery requirements across the post-production lifecycle.
- Partner with Producers to confirm creative is captured and organized for seamless handoff into post.
- Guide Editors through technical workflows and post-production standards, stepping in occasionally to resolve technical or delivery challenges.
- Establish and maintain media asset management practices, including naming conventions, version control, and archival structures.
- Use Airtable (or similar tools) to track schedules, resources, and versions; share responsibility for information entry while working with Creative Ops to streamline processes.
- Collaborate with Editing Leads to balance workload and assignments across editors, considering both edit and shoot responsibilities.
- Evaluate and implement emerging post-production technologies, including AI-assisted tools, automation platforms, and cloud-based workflows to improve efficiency and creative output.
- Monitor new technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve post-production capabilities across the team.
- Provide leadership with clear visibility into project status, risks, and capacity.
What do you need to succeed?
- 5+ years in professional video post-production, with proven success managing high-profile projects with multiple priorities under right deadlines
- Demonstrated experience working within a professional video post-production environment and proficiency in industry-standard editing platforms (Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid, DaVinci Resolve) with working knowledge of After Effects, audio workflows, and related tools.
- Experience managing finishing processes including color correcting, sound mixing & design, and final conforming.
- Strong experience with cloud-based media asset management and distributed workflow design, including the ability to build, configure and improve post-production tools and systems (Airtable or comparable platforms).
- Experience implementing, managing and optimizing cloud-based editing and post-production environments.
- Familiarity with broadcast deliverables, codecs, and multi-platform distribution standards.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, proactive problem solving, and the ability to solve issues quickly and independently.
- Experience in editing footage, supervising edits and mentoring editors.
- Demonstrated curiosity for emerging post-production technologies and AI-assisted tools, with an interest in applying new capabilities to improve workflows and team efficiency.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and efficient, with a calm solution-oriented approach under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret technical concepts and actionable guidance across creative, technology and leadership teams.
- Experience in sports, entertainment, or live event content a plus.
Special Requirements
- Ability to travel to MSG venues and various locations in the tri state area as needed
- Ability to work non-traditional hours inclusive of nights, weekends, and holidays due to the schedule of the teams, concerts and events
