Job Description

The Daily Meal Ventures is seeking a Post Sales Campaign Manager.
This position is responsible for all digital ad operations which
includes the successful completion of and full delivery of all direct
campaigns, identifying improvements that impact our ability to recognize
revenue from sold campaigns, and provide strategic and tactical input
to the product development team.


The Post Sales Campaign Manager
will work daily with the sales and audience development teams,
providing support and guidance on best practices and ensuring there are
no roadblocks to campaign execution. He or she should be the go-to
expert in all ad-related technical issues. This position will work
closely with sales, audience development, tech, product and finance
within The Daily Meal and tronc to ensure accurate and timely campaign
launches and deliver superior customer service.

  • Work with
    client team to coordinate implementation of ad-serving (trafficking),
    rich media, branding studies, and all other advertising technologies
  • Investigate and resolve delivery and performance issues across display, native and video ad products
  • Identify and recommend solutions to help streamline pre and post-sales process for campaign execution
  • Monitor placements and campaigns for performance and develop strategies to increase ad product performance
  • Develop benchmarks for determining campaign and ad product success.
  • Outline requirements, ad specs and QA new ad products as needed; work with various internal teams to launch new ad products
  • Act as liaison between sales, product, tech and editorial teams
  • Oversee monthly billing process with finance

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree
  • +3 years of experience in digital media
  • Publisher-side ad operations experience
  • Expert-level understanding of DFP ad serving
  • Experience with Data Management Platforms (DMPs), Supply Side Platforms (SSPs) and third-party ad technologies
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of third-party ad tags (HTML5, VAST, VPAID)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and effective problem solving skills
  • Experience with investigation tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Fiddler/Charles proxies, Web Developer Tools)
  • Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently within a high-paced changing environment
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about existing and emerging digital media and ad products
