As a Power Platform Developer on our solutions delivery team, you will contribute to the digital transformation of mission-critical government systems. Our teams value curiosity, collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement. We use Agile practices, DevSecOps standards, an automate-first mindset, and modern technology stacks to deliver secure, effective solutions. The role works with stakeholders, business analysts, architects, and project leadership to build scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support customer modernization objectives. The Power Platform Developer builds, enhances, tests, deploys, and maintains Microsoft Power Platform solutions that support mission programs. This contributor role supports application modernization by developing Power Apps, automating business processes with Power Automate, maintaining Dataverse data models, and assisting with integration, testing, and operations. The developer works within Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable, user-centered solutions that meet federal security and accessibility requirements. Technical team members work independently on assigned tasks, collaborate effectively with project teams, and bring curiosity and problem-solving skills to customer technology challenges. This role requires solid coding experience and a commitment to delivering practical, high-quality solutions. 

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to solution design, data models, integration patterns, and automation strategies. 
  • Build and enhance Power Apps, Dataverse solutions, and Power Automate workflows. 
  • Develop Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, and public-facing Power Pages solutions. 
  • Support data pipeline development connecting public-facing portals, external users, and CDC internal systems. 
  • Participate in backlog refinement and technical solutioning activities. 
  • Modernize legacy applications and business processes. 
  • Review assigned code, configurations, and solution components for quality and maintainability. 
  • Configure and maintain Dataverse tables, forms, views, and business rules. 
  • Create and maintain Power Automate workflows and approval processes. 
  • Migrate legacy business processes to Microsoft Power Platform solutions. 
  • Participate in requirements analysis, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution design. 
  • Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. 
  • Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective actions. 
  • Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer materials. 
  • Support production deployments, operational maintenance, and release management. 
  • Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, and Section 508 accessibility requirements. 

 
Required Skills

  • US citizen with DHS EOD or DOD Secret
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline. 
  • 5+ years of software development experience. 
  • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform development experience. 
  • 2+ years of hands on .NET/C# experience
  • Hands-On Experience with: 
  • Power Pages 
  • Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) 
  • Power Automate 
  • Microsoft Dataverse solutions 
  • Experience supporting system integrations using APIs and Azure services, including: 
  • Microsoft Dataverse 
  • Azure Functions 
  • Power Automate 
  • Logic Apps 
  • REST APIs 
  • Custom Connectors 
  • SQL Server and SharePoint Online 
  • Support secure data exchange between Power Platform solutions and external systems. 
  • Implement workflow automation and business process optimization solutions. 
  • Experience developing solutions that process large files and datasets. 
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
