The Opportunity

The Commercial & Pricing Analyst will be a core member of the Sales Operations team, responsible for supporting commercial execution through pricing analysis, deal structuring, and contract insights. This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal to ensure deals are structured thoughtfully, approved efficiently, and aligned with revenue, margin, and long-term value objectives. 

This position is well-suited for an analytically strong operator with experience in commercial pricing, or deal support, within digital media, SaaS, or another B2B environment. 


Requirements

Pricing & Commercial Analysis 

  • Support pricing and commercial decision-making by analyzing deal economics, discounting scenarios, and value-based concessions. 
  • Maintain and apply pricing and discounting frameworks to balance competitiveness, revenue growth, and margin objectives. 
  • Provide structured recommendations on pricing exceptions and non-standard commercial terms. 

Deal Support & Execution 

  • Support the end-to-end deal review and approval process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution. 
  • Partner with Sales to structure custom and non-standard deals, including bundled offerings, multi-year agreements, and bespoke commercial terms. 
  • Coordinate closely with Legal and Finance to support contract workflows, approvals, and execution. 
  • Track contract milestones, non-standard terms, and key commercial obligations. 

Renewal & Commercial Visibility 

  • Support analysis of renewal performance, pricing changes, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities. 
  • Maintain accurate reporting for renewals, amendments, and extensions. 

Reporting & Insights 

  • Build and maintain reporting on deal activity, pricing trends, approval volumes, turnaround times, and exception usage. 
  • Support ad hoc analyses and executive-ready materials for Sales Operations and Revenue Leadership. 
  • Identify patterns and insights to inform future pricing strategies and commercial guidelines. 

Systems, Data & Process Improvement 

  • Ensure Salesforce and related systems accurately reflect pricing, approvals, contract terms, and renewal data. 
  • Support continuous improvement of commercial workflows, documentation, and reporting. 
  • Improve data quality and scalability of deal-related processes. 

Pursuant to New York City's Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $90,000- $105,000; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Required Qualifications 

  • 3–6+ years of experience in Commercial Analytics, Pricing, Sales Operations, Deal Support, or Finance. 
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort modeling deal scenarios and interpreting financial impact. 
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Legal. 
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred). 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
