Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
We are seeking a Security Technologist and AI Transformation Leader to modernize and transform enterprise security programs through the application of artificial intelligence, automation, and AI agents.
This role is responsible for re‑architecting Physical Security, SOC/GSOC Operations, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Risk programs to reduce manual workload, improve risk identification, and enable faster, more accurate security decision‑making. The ideal candidate combines strong security technology fundamentals with deep understanding of AI‑enabled operational transformation.
This position is not dedicated to tool maintenance or incremental improvement; it is chartered to fundamentally redesign how security work is performed.
Responsibilities:
Security Transformation Driven by Technology - Build and complete a multi‑year roadmap to transform Physical Security, SOC/GSOC Operations, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Risk programs into technology‑enhanced, intelligence‑led capabilities. Redesign security operations around AI agents and automation, shifting from reactive, manual processes to scalable, machine‑assisted workflows.
AI Agent Automation & Workload Reduction - Identify security tasks suitable for AI agent automation or AI‑assisted execution, including triage, enrichment, correlation, and investigation preparation. Deploy AI agents to reduce workload and cognitive burden. Ensure security teams focus on judgment, risk decisions, and response strategy rather than routine processing.
Risk Identification & Predictive Security - Implement AI‑based analytics and agents that continuously identify and prioritize risk across physical, intelligence, and insider domains. Shift operations from rule‑based alerting to risk‑based assessment and prioritization. Enable earlier detection of emerging threats through multi-signal correlation and insights powered by advanced technology.
Converged Security Architecture - Define the target‑state AI and data architecture supporting converged security operations. Ensure physical security systems, SOC tooling, intelligence platforms, and insider risk capabilities operate as a unified, AI‑supported ecosystem.
Execution & Outcomes - Lead AI initiatives from concept through production and enterprise scale. Define and track success metrics tied to workload reduction, detection accuracy, response speed, and risk visibility. Reduce reliance on legacy tools and manual workflows as AI‑driven capabilities mature.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience with AI agents, machine learning, or advanced analytics in security or adjacent domains.
Experience with AI agents, machine learning, or advanced analytics in security or adjacent domains.
Experience in security technology, security engineering, or security operations.
Strong understanding of enterprise physical security systems and security operations workflows.
Demonstrated experience applying AI, automation, or advanced analytics to operational problems.
Ability to translate security risk and operational needs into technical and automated solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with converged security or fusion‑center‑style operations.
Knowledge of security risk frameworks and governance models.
