What You Will Do:
- Establishes and governs portfolio-wide quality standards, controls, and release readiness criteria to proactively mitigate risk and ensure delivery quality across all modules and capabilities.
- Partners with product, engineering, and program teams to identify quality risks early and integrate mitigation strategies into development and release plans.
- Leads incident response and coordination for quality-related issues, including triage, stakeholder communication, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Defines, tracks, and analyzes quality metrics (e.g., escaped defects, incident trends, production stability) to drive data-informed decision making and continuous improvement.
- Oversees quality support for critical deliverables, ensuring functional, integration, regression, performance, and operational readiness standards are met.
- Establishes and facilitates quality governance forums, including release readiness reviews, defect management, production health reviews, and post-incident analysis.
- Coordinates with engineering, architecture, and support teams to ensure quality across integrations, APIs, data flows, and cross-product dependencies.
- Drives continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect prevention, testing effectiveness, and operational excellence across the portfolio.
- Ensures alignment with Cat Digital operating models, quality standards, and best practices while influencing adoption across teams.
- Communicates quality risks, status, trends, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels, enabling proactive decision making.
What You Will Have:
- Business Analysis: Extensive Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Software Change Request Management: Extensive Experience in software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.
- Software Engineering: Working Knowledge of software engineering; ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Extensive Experience with UAT activities, tasks, tools, and techniques; ability to design, implement and evaluate acceptance tests for end-users.

- Extensive experience in Quality, Engineering, or Technical Product roles (typically 6-10+ years)
- Experience in complex software or platform environments
- Proven track record of improving quality at scale
