5+ years of experience leading electrical architecture development for complex airborne or mission-critical systems.
Demonstrated expertise in subsystem electrical architecture, electrical mission systems integration, and real-time embedded hardware.
Experience defining electrical interfaces, power architectures, and electrical system integration strategies.
Experience designing and integrating electrical systems compliant with military environmental and safety standards such as MIL-STD-461 (EMI/EMC) and MIL-STD-810 (Environments).
Experience leading technical trade studies, architecture reviews, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve complex engineering challenges.
Familiarity with standard lab equipment – oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers.
Ability to plan and status electrical design and development efforts to meet cost and schedule constraints.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance. Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree, Master’s or PhD, in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with FPGAs, SoCs, firmware, and embedded software development.
Experience with PCBA design and simulation software, such as Altium.
Experience with high-speed memory such as DDR3/DDR4 and high-speed digital interfaces such as PCIe 3.0/4.0, DisplayPort, USB 3.0, and Ethernet.
Working knowledge of aircraft communication protocols including Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, CAN, or similar deterministic communication architectures.
