Reporting to the Sr. Group Manager - Executive Events, the Principal Executive Events Manager at Databricks will work closely with our global events team and executive leadership and cross-functional teams to collaborate in developing event strategy for executive decision-makers. Our events include Databricks hosted in-person/virtual events, CIO Forums, the Executive Forum at the Data+AI Summit, and other third party events. In this role, you will ensure the delivery of first-class, valuable, engaging, and high-impact events for our executive audiences. You will also act as a critical global counterpart that identifies opportunities to improve best practices, internal processes, and brand presence in order to achieve scalability and enhance our executive experiences across regions.

The impact you will have:

  • Strategic optimization of executive event programs by aligning cross-functional stakeholders to corporate priorities, audience objectives, and budget efficiency.
  • Flawless, white-glove experiences designed to address the full funnel to consistently exceed engagement and business impact targets. (First-Party and Third-Party)
  • Partnership with analytics to help define and implement new success metrics across C-level acquisition, engagement, pipeline generation, velocity, and ROI enabling real-time optimization and performance visibility.
  • Budget stewardship, with accurate reconciliation and strong partnership with Finance to forecast and track investment effectiveness.
  • Project management and executive-ready communications across Marketing, Sales, and GTM stakeholders therefore ensuring alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
  • Stakeholder enablement frameworks that improve handoffs and maximize impact across the globe.
  • High-impact collaboration across executive leaders, EAs, product marketing, demand generation, executive programs, and global field marketing.
  • Consistently strong stakeholder satisfaction through proactive communication, strategic alignment, and dependable execution.

What we look for:

  • 15+ years of demonstrated success managing marketing events, of which 8+ years experience producing executive events in a high-growth tech company
  • Excellent communication skills, including a strong executive presence 
  • Strategic project leadership that drives alignment, builds cross-functional consensus, and delivers cohesive, high-impact experiences.
  • Strong command of data to guide strategy and execution is required
  • Experience with Gsuite, Salesforce.com, Asana, Rainfocus and Swoogo is highly preferred

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
