Principal Product Marketing Manager
The Nucleus team is on a mission to help organizations prevent breaches by automating risk-based vulnerability and exposure management at scale. Our products help some of the world’s largest companies, government organizations, and MSSPs solve real problems with the ever-increasing scope and complexity of managing vulnerabilities. Our approach is market-proven in a dynamic space that is growing every day, and we are excited to expand our team so we can make our full vision a reality.

We're seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to own the positioning, go-to-market, and market narrative for the Nucleus platform. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will turn Nucleus's technical capabilities into clear market value, lead our most strategic launches, and own how Nucleus is positioned with the industry analysts who define our category. This is a senior individual-contributor role for a builder who thrives amid ambiguity and wants to help shape the market for risk-based vulnerability and exposure management. It's an opportunity to play a defining role in the growth of an expanding startup experiencing rapid growth.

What You Will Do

  • Own positioning, messaging, and the go-to-market narrative for the Nucleus platform, translating complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated value for security, IT, and GRC buyers.

  • Serve as the connective tissue between Product, Marketing, and Sales, establishing a regular operating cadence with GTM leaders to prioritize market-facing needs and ensure launches, campaigns, enablement, and analyst work move with appropriate speed.

  • Define and drive go-to-market strategy for new products and features, orchestrating cross-functional launches from planning through release and post-launch measurement.

  • Own Nucleus’ analyst relations program — its strategy, narrative, and coordination — managing analyst briefings and inquiries, leading our responses to analyst questionnaires and RFIs, and driving our placement and standing in industry evaluations and reports (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, GigaOm, IDC), while partnering with Product leadership and subject-matter experts to bring the technical depth these engagements require.

  • Build the sales enablement toolkit — pitch decks, demo narratives, battlecards, one-pagers, and field training — that equips our go-to-market teams to win.

  • Partner with demand generation and content teams to power campaigns and customer-facing content, and own product web page messaging and updates so Nucleus’s positioning shows up consistently across channels.

  • Own competitive intelligence for the vulnerability and exposure management market, turning competitor, customer, and market insight into differentiation, positioning, and sales plays.

  • Serve as a market-facing expert and spokesperson for Nucleus with customers, prospects, and the broader security community.

About You

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of product marketing or closely related solutions marketing / go-to-market experience at a B2B technology company, including time at a high-growth startup or scale-up

  • Demonstrated ownership of positioning and messaging for technical B2B SaaS products

  • Proven experience owning analyst relations — running briefings and inquiries, completing questionnaires and RFIs, and influencing placements in evaluations and reports

  • Track record of leading end-to-end product and feature launches and go-to-market execution

  • Experience building sales enablement and competitive intelligence that measurably helps enterprise sales teams win

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment — this is a key attribute for success in the role

  • Proven ability to work on highly technical products and market to technical audiences

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Excellent analytical & presentation skills

  • Comfort working with fully remote and distributed agile teams in multiple time zones

  • The ability to work under pressure and adapt to change

  • Entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset: you take ownership of problems and solutions, not tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in vulnerability management, exposure management, or another area of cybersecurity

  • Established relationships with industry analysts covering security, vulnerability, or exposure management

  • Experience marketing B2B SaaS to enterprise, MSSP, and/or US Federal buyers

  • Experience with products integrating native generative AI functionality (natural language search, agentic automated workflows, etc.)

Why You Should Be Excited

  • Work on a truly unique solution that’s defining a market and making an actual impact.

  • Join a financially secure, high-growth company with a rapidly expanding enterprise customer base.

  • We’re biased, but: Work with one of the best teams in security. We have a lot to get done and we work extremely hard, but we also laugh and have fun in the process.

  • Outstanding benefits - flexible work hours, fully remote, unlimited PTO, 401k company contribution, generous education and training budget, 100% company-paid healthcare…and that’s just a start.
