Your Team's Impact 

The Pricing and Reference Data Program Management team is seeking to hire a Principal Program Manager to be the lead of a cross-functional team delivering a program of work across several Data Solutions Product and Engineering teams. FactSet's Pricing and Reference Data Solutions power global finance, providing critical information to help market participants identify, track and manage financial instruments, determine their associated attributes, assess their value, and ensure proper record keeping and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do 

Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Principal Program Manager for Pricing and Reference Data leads the planning and execution of a high-impact program, aligning business objectives with technical delivery. You are responsible for end-to-end program ownership, stakeholder management, and effective collaboration with clients, executives, and global cross-functional teams while managing complex initiatives involving real-time data, cloud platforms, and financial systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute the entire Pricing and Reference Data investment program throughout all phases of the SDLC.
  • Lead and mentor Project Managers working under the program.
  • Act as the primary client-facing and stakeholder-facing leader from the PMO, building trusted relationships internally and externally.
  • Create project plans cooperatively with the engineering and product development stakeholders.
  • Establish and consistently maintain a productive environment for successful cross-functional collaboration.
  • Effectively manage key project areas, including requirements gathering, quality measures, scope, timelines, budgets, risks, communications, stakeholders, and overall project quality.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, evaluate business benefits/costs and drive business meaningful outcomes for the organization.
  • Clearly communicate project execution plan and development status with key stakeholders in a visible and consistent fashion.
  • Establish transparent, consistent, low bureaucracy and repeatable project management best practices for engineering and product development resources.

What We're Looking For 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in project, program or portfolio management within the Financial Services or FinTech industry. 
  • 10+ years working directly with engineers.
  • 10+ years working directly with product development, senior stakeholders and clients.
  • PMP, PgMP, SAFe certifications or equivalent.
  • Proven experience leading large, complex programs involving reference data management, market data, and real-time data processing.
  • Strong background in cloud platforms (prefer AWS) and financial management of technology programs.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills and experience managing global, remote teams across multiple time zones with direct and indirect influence.
  • Practitioner of Servant-Leadership.
  • Intermediate knowledge of financially traded instruments.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to translate technical features into business benefits.
  • Strong understanding of reporting structures, governance models, and executive-level communication.
  • Proven ability to translate technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications. 

The budgeted salary range for this position in the states of Connecticut and New York is $120,000- $165,000.
