We are looking for you to join our team as a Principal Pricing Analyst / Sr Principal Pricing Analyst. This role is available for full time telecommuting and will require the ability to travel domestically up to 10-15% of the time for site visits and cross functional engagements.
The Standards, Process, and Compliance Lead serves as the enterprise’s pricing and estimating process architect. This role develops and deploys playbooks, gate criteria, training programs, and frameworks to unify and standardize pricing practices across sectors. The lead ensures all AI tools, process changes, and organizational alignment actions are fully documented, trainable, compliant, and sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise playbooks with working groups, embedding best practices across all seven pillars.
- Support operational alignment: create role charters, analyze role accountability, maintain staffing consistency, etc.
- Develop HITL (human-in-the-loop) protocol documentation and training for all P&E professionals using AI tools.
- Lead DCAA compliance validation for AI-enabled workflows and develop the compliance narrative.
- Design and launch an enterprise Pricing Excellence certification with assessment methods and rotation requirements.
- Develop and execute change management strategies for process adoption.
- Manage metadata taxonomy definition for the Document Management System, aligning with AI project needs.
- Formalize cross-sector handoffs, SLAs, and escalation/error handling processes.
This role may be hired at the principal or senior principal level, depending on the years of experience candidates bring to our evaluation.
Basic Requirements for Principal Level:
- BS Degree in Business, Engineering or a similar field and a minimum of 6 years of experience in aerospace & defense, with direct involvement in pricing, estimating, or proposal management.
Basic Requirements for a Senior Principal Level:
- BS Degree in Business, Engineering or a similar field and a minimum of10 years of experience in aerospace & defense, with deep familiarity in pricing, estimating, or proposal management.
Remaining Qualifications for Both Levels:
- Proven track record in developing enterprise process standards, playbooks, or SOPs across divisions.
- Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, CAS, TINA/DITA, and DCAA audit requirements as applied to pricing and estimating.
- Experience designing and/or delivering professional training or certification programs.
- Experience writing and documenting auditable process documents.
- Change management experience leading adoption of new processes/tools across complex organizations.
- The ability to travel domestically up to 10-25% of the time for site visits and cross functional engagements.
- An active Government Secret Security Clearance is required for this role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior background as Contracts Manager, Pricing Manager, Compliance Lead, or Process Improvement Lead at a major aerospace/defense company.
- Familiarity with AI governance and human-in-the-loop protocols.
- Experience with enterprise assessment frameworks (e.g., CMMI, SEI).
- Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement certification.
- NCMA (CFCM/CCCM) or ICEAA (CCE/A) certification.
- MBA or master's degree.
