This role leads our AI-driven platform engineering strategy. You will shape how we adopt agentic automation, streamline DevOps workflows, and guide teams through modern CI/CD and Git practices. You'll have a major impact on how engineering delivers software every day.
Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise AI transformation across DevOps platforms, including strategy, architecture, and agentic automation
- Build custom automation using Go, Python, REST APIs, and Bash/sh to streamline CI/CD workflows
- Improve and scale CI/CD systems across Tekton, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Artifactory, and related tools
- Partner with IT, Security, and vendors to influence platform roadmaps and architectural decisions
- Provide expert mentorship in Git, CI/CD, system architecture, and troubleshooting
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong Linux and automation background with advanced scripting and Python skills (or similar)
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD systems such as Tekton, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, and Jenkins
- Proven expertise with Git, pipeline-as-code, integrations, APIs, REST, and event-based automation
- Experience operating engineering platforms at enterprise scale, enterprise AI solutions, and scaled project management and development tools
- Demonstrated technical leadership with ability to mentor, influence, and communicate clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing AI-enabled or agentic workflows for DevOps and platform operations
- Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks such as Atlassian Rovo, Forge/MCP extensions, or comparable platforms
- Experience integrating AI into CI/CD workflows for intelligent automation or autonomous execution
- Background in cloud-native architectures on Azure and/or AWS
- Track record of leading multi-quarter initiatives in complex or regulated engineering environments
