EnCharge AI launched in 2022 and is led by veteran technologists with backgrounds in semiconductor design and AI systems.

About the Role

EnCharge AI is looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Principal Solutions Engineer to lead customer and partner solution development for our next-generation AI acceleration platform.

This is a senior technical role for an engineer who can bridge the gap between AI hardware, software, systems, and customers. You will own strategic customer programs from initial technical engagement and proof-of-concept through optimization and deployment, working directly with customers and ecosystem partners to turn complex AI workloads into high-performance solutions on EnCharge technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution design, performance benchmarking, and system-level tuning for key verticals on EnCharge platforms.
  • Provide hands-on technical engagement with customers and software partners from PoC through deployment, optimizing application performance, latency, and power efficiency to drive winning proof points.
  • Support technical pre-sales efforts by clearly articulating solution value propositions, architectural differentiators, and performance benchmarks.
  • Develop reference applications, demonstrations, customer evaluation platforms, and enablement collateral (user guides, tutorials, case studies).
  • Proactively identify and onboard strategic partners, mapping value chains to co-develop AI solutions that expand market reach and accelerate time-to-market.
  • Partner with ODMs on complete system designs and collaborate with ISVs to deliver documentation and reference designs that empower the ecosystem.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, directly influencing the product roadmap, software features, and developer experience.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in solutions engineering and partner enablement within the semiconductor or AI industry.
  • Proven track record of bringing complex hardware products to market and driving adoption through software and end-to-end solution integration.
  • Experience developing AI solutions for edge, datacenter, or embedded applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of AI workloads and optimization, SoC architectures, software stacks, and system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks, AI inference optimization, and model deployment.
  • Experience in system and application software development and AI pipeline frameworks.
  • Experience with embedded Linux systems and AI accelerators is preferred.
