As a Principal Program Manager focused on Circle-owned developer programs, you will design and scale high-impact initiatives that activate, support, and retain developers building on Circle's platform. You will lead the execution of core incentive programs - including grants, bounties, credits, and community engagement initiatives - ensuring operational clarity, cross-functional alignment, and measurable outcomes. A key priority will be launching and expanding new programs to engage developers building on Arc, Circle's new blockchain. This role focuses exclusively on Circle-owned, first-party developer programs, and does not include third-party or partner-led initiatives, but will meaningfully integrate developers from those initiatives into existing programs
What you'll work on:
  • Launch and scale Arc incentive programs, including grants and bounties - designing repeatable workflows and tracking structures that ensure speed, clarity, and cross-functional alignment
  • Design and launch new Arc-focused community engagement programs, including ambassador initiatives, mentorship tracks, tiered incentives, and community meetups
  • Operationalize developer engagement strategies that foster education, integration, and retention across the broader developer ecosystem, in collaboration with DevRel and Community teams
  • Partner with Legal, Treasury, MarOps, and Product to ensure all programs are efficiently executed and compliant, with well-documented intake, evaluation, and reporting processes
  • Lead technical campaigns that showcase developer success, ecosystem milestones, and product adoption - partnering with Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, and Demand Gen
  • Define and manage program performance metrics that guide continuous improvement and stakeholder reporting
  • Collaborate with the Alliance team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure Arc first-party programming aligns with broader ecosystem and Arc go-to-market initiatives

What you'll bring to Circle
  • 10+ years of experience in program management, developer ecosystem operations, or technical marketing
  • Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact developer-facing programs from concept to scale
  • Demonstrated experience with incentive-driven initiatives such as grants, bounties, or rewards
  • Deep expertise in operational execution and process design, including cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, and Compliance
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders with clarity and accountability
  • Passion for the developer journey and community-building; excited to support long-term engagement

Preferred Requirements
  • Background in blockchain, Web3, or developer platform ecosystems
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of community growth (ambassadors, tiered incentives, meetups)
  • Experience launching programs in support of a new blockchain or protocol
  • Proficiency with program and workflow tools like; Notion, or Asana

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.
Base Pay Range:
$185,000 - $212,500
