The Weather Company  Consumer Product - Privacy and cross-functional teams build industry-leading solutions in user privacy, transparency, and social responsibility. We design and develop features that integrate regulatory and compliance requirements with engaging, user-centric experiences, ensuring a safe, trustworthy, and enjoyable experience for our global community. 

We are looking for a talented individual to join us for an internship in 2026. TWCo internships aim to offer college students industry exposure and hands-on experience in developing fundamental skills and exploring potential career paths. The Privacy Product Management intern supports the product and Privacy & Trust teams in building user-centric and compliant experiences across Consumer products (app + web). You’ll collaborate with Legal and Privacy + Trust to translate privacy laws and regulations into practical product requirements, contribute to privacy-by-design features, and strengthen user trust through clear, transparent experiences.

The impact you'll make:

  • Review privacy policies from Legal & Privacy & Trust to align with regulations
  • Write privacy product briefs for new and existing product features
  • Conduct market & regulatory research on privacy trends, competitive patterns, and best practices to inform product roadmap. 
  • Help shape, define, and refine privacy-related product requirements via Jira & associated workflows and work closely with Legal, Privacy & Trust, Engineering, Design and Product teams to develop and refine solutions. 
  • Diagnose privacy product bugs and work with teams to drive solutions
  • Update the Privacy Playbook documentation on new or modified products.
  • Analyze privacy product and usage metrics to understand how users interact with privacy features and identify opportunities to improve the experience.

  • Clear and concise communication skills, able to enable effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to get things accomplished
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of product thinking to develop well-balanced solutions valued by TWCo users
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments, showing a dynamic and entrepreneurial mindset to navigate change and ambiguity
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Law, or a related field with an interest in data privacy and product management
  • Familiarity with core privacy concepts and regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) or strong willingness to learn.
  • Experience or strong interest in digital regulations and compliance
Pay: $25/hr
