- Conduct online research in line with the company’s operational or strategic plans
- Assists with reviewing financial documents for the underwriting of potential funding deals
- Assist with compiling capital account statements for investors
- Complete ad hoc tasks, as required
What we’re looking for:
- An undergraduate student currently studying Finance, Economics, Business, Project Management or a related subject in the United States, preferably New York City, who has a minimum GPA of 3.5 and an excellent extracurricular record from a strong academic institution.
- A candidate who shows a strong and evident passion for the financial sector, particularly the private credit and payments industry
- The candidate should be available to attend the internship on-site at altbanq’s Midtown Manhattan office for at least 20 hours a week. Flexibility with alternative schedules can be provided, but a candidate with a consistent and predictable availability for the role is highly preferred.
- The student should be committed to the role on a long-term basis (i.e. 12 months or more), as the role involves working actively on both short- and long-term projects
