Job Responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong computer skills
  • High mechanical ability.
  • Good working knowledge of machinery.
  • Pass confined spaces training course, material handler training course and LOTO course.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong record keeping ability and computer skills.
  • Maintain an excellent safety record.
  • Help maintain machine capability, with material, components, and packaging.
  • Monitor inventory levels and alert supervisor / manager of any shortages or excesses.
  • Strong people and leadership skills.
  • Trouble shoots auxiliary equipment & ability to perform general maintenance as needed (rack jams, chemical additions)
  • Daily and end of month inventory team member or participation, here for all monthly and year end inventories.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours.
  • Able to work overtime and weekends with little or no notice.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Handling drums with hazardous materials
  • Keep records of all chemical changes
  • Maintain coated part quality and process control.
  • Meet production goals.
  • Machine startups and shutdowns.
  • Trouble shooting machine problems
  • Setting up machines with all supplies needed to begin production.
  • Keep machines and surrounding areas clean and neat
  • Operate a hi-lo both stand up and sit down
  • Assure all chemicals are at correct ratio and up to temp
  • Change filters on tanks, i.e.- topcoat, primer and ultrasonic tanks
  • Make sure daily and weekly inventories are being done.
  • Take the lead on shift change walk through and sign off sheet, report any discrepancies to supervisor.
  • Make sure incoming materials, packaging, and components are put away properly and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor all production areas and ensure that correct materials, components, and packaging are being used along with properly being transferred and issued.
  • Inventory location. If any discrepancies are found, they must be reported to supervisor or shift supervisor.
  • Drain and clean all tanks i.e.- Topcoat, primer and ultrasonics
  • Fill out safety observation for anything that is a safety concern.
  • Assure housekeeping is being kept in accordance with LexaMar standard
  • Obtain and maintain confined space training/certification
  • Be physically able to use a fitted respirator (no facial hair)
  • Clean machine thoroughly to rid of any possible contamination.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical background.
  • Strong computer skills
