Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Procurement Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our end-to-end procurement processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily procurement operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, driving efficiency improvements, and leading a team of Global Procurement Specialists. This role is critical in ensuring that the organization obtains the best value for goods and services while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Process Management
Develop, implement, and maintain best-in-class procurement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency, compliance, and control.
Lead initiatives to standardize and simplify the procure-to-pay process across the organization, leveraging technology for automation and optimization.
Manage the procurement technology stack (e.g., e-procurement systems, contract management software / CLM) and drive user adoption and continuous improvement.
Conduct and manage ongoing training and education with end-users.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement operations, identifying areas for performance enhancement and cost reduction.
Operational Execution
Oversee the daily operations of the procurement function, including requisition processing, purchase order (PO) management, supplier onboarding and maintenance, and invoice reconciliation.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchasing requests in compliance with internal controls and budgetary requirements.
Manage the relationship with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies and streamline the payment process.
Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding procurement inquiries and process adherence.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement operations specialists, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
Manage workload distribution and resource allocation within the operations team.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and internal policies.
Manage and update supplier data, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation for compliance (e.g., supplier agreements, certifications).
Identify and mitigate risks within the procurement operations lifecycle.
Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
Proven experience implementing and managing e-procurement or P2P (Procure-to-Pay) systems preferably in Oracle (R12 and Cloud) and experience in CLM tools.
Deep understanding of best practices in procurement operations, control environments, and process optimization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive data-informed decisions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Google Suite
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $90,750.00 - $188,750.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
