Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Media is undertaking a variety of projects and products related to operational infrastructure and automation to support company growth and industry leadership. The Product & Program Manager - Platforms forms, owns, and leads the DISH Media platform products and programs vertical, directly focusing on core operational platforms and workflows. This position addresses complex architecture and workflow challenges by bridging the gap between business logic and technical infrastructure. Success requires managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while driving vendor relationships and technical execution to successful completion.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives):
  • Form, own, and lead the DISH Media platform products and programs vertical while focusing directly on core operational platforms and workflows to create efficiency and automation
  • Create, manage, and evolve the Media Platforms roadmap using direct input from business and sales leadership to tie in departmental OKRs
  • Act as the primary point of contact and heavily own relationships with third-party platform vendors, guiding vendor selection, tracking performance, and managing deliverables
  • Organize and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and products while controlling schedules, costs, and performance risks
  • Thoroughly understand and communicate business stakeholders' requirements to technical teams, managing requirements through execution to ensure business needs are fully realized
  • Leverage AI literacy and analytical tools to optimize infrastructure, automate reporting, and enhance decision-making across cross-functional and partner resources

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):
  • Exceptional ability to build rapport and collaborate across diverse internal departments, especially IT and business stakeholders, and external vendor organizations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, featuring a knack for translating complex technical concepts into business terms and vice versa
  • Advanced proficiency in managing complex projects, requirement cycles, and matrixed relationships under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and creative thinking abilities with a strict attention to detail in high-pressure environments
  • Critical experience with ad-sales systems, operational environments, and the technical back-ends of broadcast or digital platforms
  • AI literacy and application expertise to drive automation and improve operational infrastructure efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree, ideally in Project Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in project or product management
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Google Suite
    • Reports development and system architecture design

Additional Qualifications:
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced combination of education and experience

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $95,634.00/Year - $136,620.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
