Position Summary: 

The product and development team are instrumental in building the vision of Meison. The Product and Development Assistant will work closely with the design, buying and sourcing team to ensure the translation of the design intent into an approved sample meets the brand’s aesthetic, style and fit needs. The PD assistant will support the team in executing the product life cycle through accurate data entry, timely follow-up and sample management. 

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate tech packs & requirements to vendors
  • Support research/material development & allocation to vendors 
  • Support record and PLM creating & upkeep through Drop-cut meeting 
  • Assist in proto sample and SMS tracking and reviews 
  • Manage product development chart creation and information upkeep

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Garment product and/or product development experience preferred
  • Bachelor Degree in either Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Fashion Design or similar field. 
  • Able to read and write in both English and Chinese
  • Strong work ethic, commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Organized with high attention to detail
  • Dynamic analytical, problem solving and project management abilities with proven systems knowledge and expertise
  • Expert knowledge and proficiency with MS Office applications, AI/Photoshop is a plus
