Build and own full-stack platform features (primarily backend in Golang, frontend in React), design APIs and architecture, engage directly with customers, ensure scale and reliability, and develop infrastructure for AI agent workflows including tooling, observability, and guardrails.

Note: We are recruiting on behalf of our valued client. This opportunity is for a position with their organization, not with People Culture Talent. We're excited to help connect talented professionals with this exceptional team!

The Role

We're hiring a Product Engineer to shape the user experience of a platform used by some of the most technically sophisticated teams in software and AI.

This is a foundational role. You'll work closely with the founders, engineers, and customers to design experiences for complex, developer-facing workflows — and help establish the design standards the product will be built on from here. The team is small, the ownership is real, and the people you'll work with care deeply about craft. If you do your best work when the problems are hard and what you ship actually matters, then this is the environment for it.

What You’ll Own
  • Full Stack Feature Development — Own the full loop: technical architecture, implementation, documentation, and customer communication. No throwing work over the fence. You will primarily work in the backend (Golang), but you are also comfortable implementing frontend features (React).

  • Customer Engagement — Talk directly to customers — support questions, feedback gathering. Let what you hear shape what you build.

  • API Design and Architecture — Every engineer proposes API designs and technical architecture for the features they work on. We write succinct design docs, generously give each other feedback, and push towards the best solution.

  • Scale and Reliability — With a rapidly scaling customer base, it is essential to build with scale and edge cases in mind. Every engineer contributes to building alerting, telemetry, internal tooling, and automation to help continue to ship fast while maintaining reliability.

  • AI Agents — You will work on planning, tool use, evals, observability, guardrails, and the infrastructure needed to make agentic workflows reliable for customers.

What You’ll Bring
  • 4+ years engineering and designing digital products, ideally in B2B SaaS, developer tools, enterprise software, or technical products

  • Golang and React experience is a strong plus

  • You are AI-forward and love trying new AI tools. You think of yourself not as a coder, but as a builder who harnesses AI to multiply their productivity.

  • Strong communication skills; you can articulate design decisions and push back when something isn't right. Engineers here write their own feature docs and own their decisions

  • Great taste in what makes developer tools intuitive; ideally you've shipped customer-facing developer products before

  • Strong product intuition — you can work directly with customers to design features, not just implement specs

About Our Client

This venture backed AI infrastructure company is developing the connectivity layer that enables AI platforms and B2B software to take meaningful action within the systems businesses rely on. The founding team brings experience from Google, Meta, and AWS. The team is small, retention rates are exceptional, and the technical standards are high. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are excited about meaningful ownership and the chance to help shape the future of collaboration between businesses and AI.
