Our Team

The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that powers the delivery of ads using our world class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our member’s viewing experience and drive great outcomes for advertisers. We also ensure that advertiser brand safety is ensured during serving, members only see the most appropriate ads for them and Netflix’s advertising policies and contracts are thoroughly enforced.

Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that help us differentiate from the competition and become a market leader in record time. 

We are looking for a Product Manager, to lead complex monetization billing automation, financial reporting infrastructure, and critical billing initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

The PM will:

  • Shape the Finance and Billing strategy for billing and finance functionalities for ads business 

  • Develop product solutions for automating billing and revenue recognition, addressing intricate invoicing scenarios. This includes managing product bundles, prepayments, monetization of non-real-time bidding (non-RTB) marketplaces, and integrations with third-party (3P) billing systems like Prisma, as well as billing for integrated marketing products

  • Design and own financial reporting infrastructure , supporting compliance, regulatory and management reporting use cases

  • Collaboration with cross functional teams such as engineering, design ,finance and sales teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of ad billing solutions

  • Develop and maintain product roadmap for areas managed and ensure aligns with business goals and customer needs

  • Regularly update stakeholders on product progress, challenges and opportunities

Candidate Experience

  • Industry Expertise: Proven (5-7 years) experience in product management within the advertising or ad tech industry, with a focus on billing and finance.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of ad delivery systems, integrations, and content delivery networks.

  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive product decisions.

  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with a strong ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $310,000.00 - $545,000.00.
