  • Define how conversational context user intent permissions and system state are preserved and transferred across surfaces and sessions
  • Establish quality bars and success metrics for chat and agent interactions including task completion rate latency correctness safety and user trust
  • Work cross functionally with Datadog product teams to integrate Bits Chat into observability security and platform workflows without fragmenting user experience
  • Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure actions triggered through chat and CLI are auditable secure and production safe
  • Evangelize best practices for building conversational and agent driven experiences internally contributing to shared interaction standards across Datadog.

Who You Are:

  • A Product Manager with experience building developer-facing products or platform features, ideally in SaaS or cloud infrastructure environments
  • Technically curious and fluent, with a working understanding of APIs, CLI tools, and conversational or AI-assisted interfaces

  • Able to reason about tradeoffs between usability, safety, and system constraints in conversational and agent-driven workflows
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator who can explain product decisions and user flows to technical and non-technical audiences
