As a Product Manager II on the Code Security team, you will lead the charge in defining and executing Datadog’s roadmap for securing the software supply chain in the era of AI-assisted and agentic coding. This is a strategic and technical role focused on identifying emerging risks in modern development workflows and translating those insights into high-impact product capabilities. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, security research, design, and go-to-market teams to launch innovative solutions that help customers stay ahead of evolving threats. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your expertise in both application security and AI, while shaping one of Datadog’s fastest-growing product areas.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships that it builds, the creativity it brings to the table, and the collaboration of being together. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our employees can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the product roadmap for AI native software supply chain security, defining how Datadog supports customers as AI coding tools reshape the SDLC
  • Conduct deep customer discovery with security and engineering teams to uncover critical gaps in vulnerability management, supply chain protection, and AI-assisted coding workflows
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, security research, and go-to-market teams to drive alignment and execute on roadmap priorities
  • Launch new capabilities from 0 to 1, helping to establish and grow the Code Security portfolio’s presence in the market
  • Translate complex technical challenges into clear product strategies that address customer needs and market opportunities

Who You Are:

  • You have 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager owning the roadmap and execution for technical products, ideally in developer tools, security, or infrastructure
  • You enjoy engaging directly with customers, leading discovery calls, participating in sales conversations, and building relationships to understand user needs
You have a solid technical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including how security integrates into modern developer workflows
  • You are familiar with AI coding tools or agentic development workflows and are comfortable working at the intersection of AI and security
  • You thrive in cross-functional environments and enjoy turning ambiguous problems into tangible product outcomes
  • You have experience taking new features or products from 0 to 1, making thoughtful tradeoffs about what to build (and what not to build) in fast paced environments
  • You communicate clearly and persuasively with both internal and external stakeholders

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That's okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking
  • An inclusive company culture, ability to join our Community Guilds (Datadog employee resource groups)
  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our Internal panel discussions
  • Free, global mental health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
  • Competitive global benefits

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
