About Kinetic

Kinetic is on a mission to create a safer workplace and better life for the frontline workforce. Backed by Nationwide, we’re transforming workers’ comp with technology-driven solutions for injury prediction, prevention, and management—helping employers create safer, healthier workplaces. We also work directly with enterprise clients.

Our platform is built for labor intensive industries including parcel delivery, manufacturing, and wholesale/warehousing operations. From wearable tech that reduces strain and sprain injuries by over 60% to a tech-driven program that speeds up return-to-work and generative AI for claims management, we're redefining what workers' comp can do.

We’re a remote-first team headquartered in New York City, growing fast—10x in the past two years—and driven by accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration. If you're excited to build a career with impact, we’d love to meet you.

Kinetic has been named to: Business Insurance's Best Place to Work in Insurance 2025.

The Role

Kinetic is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Product Manager to own and expand our Rapid Return-to-Work program. This role goes beyond feature delivery — you will develop and execute a strategy that makes RRTW universal and ubiquitous across our customer base. That means embedding RRTW into every claims journey, making adoption the default for policyholders and brokers, and giving our PSMs and Nurse Case Managers the tools they need to drive consistent outcomes.

You’ll work directly with senior leaders, carrier partners, and policyholder executives to ensure RRTW is not just available, but actively used as a standard part of claims management. With RRTW already a cornerstone of the Kinetic platform, your mandate is to measure, own, and improve every aspect of RRTW performance — from adoption and operational execution to customer engagement and incentive alignment.

You’ll combine deep empathy for injured workers and employers, strong product instincts, and cross-functional discipline to ensure RRTW isn’t just a product feature, but a universal standard across Kinetic’s ecosystem. Cross-functional work isn’t optional in this role — it’s the mandate. You’ll partner closely with our insurance operations, distribution, and underwriting teams, as well as with product, design, data, and engineering, to ensure RRTW adoption is seamless and outcomes are measurable at scale.

What you'll do:

Product Development & Strategy

  • Own all performance metrics across the entire RRTW product suite
  • Define and evolve the vision, roadmap, and feature set for RRTW across the Kinetic platform.
  • Translate operational and customer pain points into clear product requirements and scalable solutions.

Operational Alignment & Enablement

  • Partner with Insurance Operations, Policyholder Success Managers, Claims Specialists, Underwriting to ensure RRTW is consistently executed.
  • Build and refine playbooks, workflows, and tools that embed RRTW into everyday claim handling.
  • Align with carrier partners and distribution teams to ensure program standards and incentives are clear and achievable.

Adoption, Marketing & Outcomes

  • Drive universal adoption of RRTW across policyholders, brokers, and adjusters by integrating RRTW into incentives, education, and customer-facing tools.
  • Partner with Distribution & Marketing to position RRTW as a core differentiator for Kinetic, ensuring clarity in customer communications and broker materials.

What Success Looks Like

  • ≥70% of eligible claims enter RRTW.
  • Demonstrable reduction in indemnity duration and claim cost.
  • High adoption, positive feedback from claims and policyholders, and a key differentiator for policyholders and brokers.

What you've done:

  • 4–6+ years in Product Management, with experience in insurance, healthcare, or workforce solutions strongly preferred.
  • Strong program management skills: cross-functional coordination, stakeholder alignment, and execution discipline.
  • Data-driven decision making; comfortable with metrics like utilization, adoption rates, and claim cost impacts.
  • Excellent communication: able to translate between clinical, operational, and technical audiences.
  • Bias to action: thrives in ambiguity and can drive projects forward with limited precedent.
  • Proven experience scaling an operations-heavy product with cross departmental dependencies.

 What we offer:

  • This is a remote position with the expectation of periodically traveling domestically (1-2x per Quarter)
  • $150k-$175k base salary plus equity
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 20 vacation days per year
  • 9 federal holidays off
  • Parental Leave
  • HSA with compatible health plans
  • 20% off Kindbody services including fertility and family-building
  • FREE: Health Advocate
  • FREE: Telehealth Membership
  • FREE: OneMedical Account

Security Notice: Kinetic is committed to a secure hiring process. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a comprehensive identity and background verification process. We will never ask for financial information or payment during the application process.
