Job Summary:
For more than 30 years, Tibersoft has helped food and beverage manufacturers make sense of one of the industry's most fragmented and difficult data landscapes. We turn complex, multi-source data into the clarity our clients need to grow with confidence. The Product Manager is responsible for identifying, validating, and delivering AI-enabled product initiatives that generate net new revenue and advance customer innovation. This role operates at the intersection of OPTRADE — Tibersoft's proprietary database of transaction-verified Food Away From Home operator locations, built on nearly three decades of foodservice data aggregation — and emerging AI capabilities. The successful candidate will translate direct customer evidence into shipped capabilities on accelerated development cycles.
Job Description:
Core responsibilities- Own and maintain a 12–18 month product roadmap aligned with Tibersoft’s strategic priorities, customer needs, market opportunities, and measurable business outcomes.
- Lead a structured, ongoing customer discovery program with CPG manufacturer stakeholders, including regular on-site engagement, to identify, validate, and document unmet needs and high-value product opportunities.
- Translate qualitative customer insight, product usage data, and commercial objectives into clear product requirements, success metrics, and evidence-based priorities; communicate the rationale and trade-offs behind roadmap decisions.
- Lead cross-functional product delivery across R&D, Development, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, guiding initiatives from problem definition and business case development through testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Business Development, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to develop go-to-market and adoption plans that convert product capabilities into measurable customer value, revenue growth, and sustained usage.
- Establish and monitor product performance measures, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and provide the General Manager with clear updates on progress, customer learnings, business impact, and recommended course corrections.
- 2-3 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or data products, with a demonstrated record of commercially successful releases
- Practical, hands-on fluency with AI and machine learning capabilities — including a working understanding of their limitations
- Disciplined customer research practice; the ability to distinguish what customers say from what the data shows, and to let both override internal opinion, including their own
- Demonstrated ability to communicate product vision and requirements across markedly different audiences — translating customer evidence into commercial implications for executives, technical requirements for engineering, and a clear narrative for the broader organization
- Willingness to travel 20–30% for customer engagement
- Foodservice, CPG, or commercial intelligence domain experience strongly preferred
