About Hebbia

The AI platform for investors and bankers that generates alpha and drives upside.

Founded in 2020 by George Sivulka and backed by Peter Thiel and Andreessen Horowitz, Hebbia powers investment decisions for BlackRock, KKR, Carlyle, Centerview, and 40% of the world's largest asset managers. Our flagship product, Matrix, delivers industry-leading accuracy, speed, and transparency in AI-driven analysis. It is trusted to help manage over $30 trillion in assets globally.

We deliver the intelligence that gives finance professionals a definitive edge. Our AI uncovers signals no human could see, surfaces hidden opportunities, and accelerates decisions with unmatched speed and conviction. We do not just streamline workflows. We transform how capital is deployed, how risk is managed, and how value is created across markets.

Hebbia is not a tool. Hebbia is the competitive advantage that drives performance, alpha, and market leadership.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to own an area of Hebbia's AI product, helping investors and bankers research companies, analyze information, and produce work they can rely on. You will set product direction, choose the problems to solve, and work with engineering, design, and research to take new capabilities from discovery through adoption.

You will spend time with customers, study how they use the product, and turn what you learn into improvements that serve our broader customer base. This is a hands-on role: building prototypes, defining how a workflow should behave, evaluating AI outputs, and working through the details of the experience. You will own both the roadmap and whether the product delivers lasting value after launch.

Responsibilities
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for a product area, connecting customer needs and business goals to clear priorities and measurable outcomes

  • Combine direct customer research, product usage data, and lessons from customer deployments to identify needs across accounts and choose the most valuable problems to solve

  • Design complete user workflows and turn them into focused requirements, prototypes, and first releases, with a clear path for iteration

  • Partner closely with engineering, design, and research on product and technical tradeoffs across accuracy, usability, reliability, security, latency, and cost

  • Set the quality bar for AI answers, analyses, and generated work products using representative customer tasks, clear acceptance criteria, and evaluations

  • Prioritize reusable product capabilities by weighing customer value, commercial opportunity, delivery effort, and ongoing operating cost

  • Drive execution by making timely product decisions, resolving open questions, and giving engineers the context to make good decisions independently

  • Own launches through rollout and adoption, partnering early with sales and customer-facing teams on validation, enablement, and customer feedback

  • Measure usage, task success, retention, and business impact; investigate where the product falls short and use those findings to guide the next release

Who You Are
  • Experience independently owning a software product area from discovery through launch and adoption, with demonstrated customer or business impact

  • Strong product judgment and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear priorities, practical requirements, and focused releases

  • Technical fluency with APIs, data systems, and AI products; comfortable investigating issues with engineers and reasoning about system behavior and tradeoffs

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to research, prototype, analyze data, or build software

  • Strong customer instincts and commercial judgment, with curiosity about how users work and the ability to connect their needs to a product opportunity

  • Strong product craft and attention to usability, with the ability to turn subjective feedback into concrete product behavior, examples, and acceptance criteria

  • Clear communication and sound judgment under uncertainty; able to make recommendations, handle disagreement directly, and update your view as you learn

  • Comfort with owning the details, testing the product yourself, and improving it after launch

  • Experience with enterprise software, financial workflows, integrations, or AI evaluation is a strong plus

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $320,000. This range may be inclusive of several career levels at Hebbia and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.

Life @ Hebbia
  • PTO: Unlimited

  • Insurance: Medical + Dental + Vision + 401K

  • Eats: Catered lunch daily + DoorDash dinner credit if you ever need to stay late

  • Parental leave policy: 3 months non-birthing parent, 4 months for birthing parent
