Since its founding in 2017, Prometheum has leveraged its deep expertise in securities law, blockchain and trading to create a compliant ecosystem for digital asset securities that enables all investors to seamlessly invest in digital assets securities. Product Manager (Financial Services) – Full Time W2
Location:-
Fully remote, USA
Salary:-
$170,000 - $220,000

 

Responsibilities

  • This position will be accountable for the successful development of the functional product details driving a core engineering team’s development work.

  • Working closely with the firm, principal engineers, designers, qa, and rest of the engineering team, ensuring a market-leading enterprise product.

  • For the right person, this role could include more significant product oversight as the firm evolves and grows.

  • Managing and ownership of business side requirements to build an enterprise product.

  • Assist in developing products, features, and road maps by listing out the functionality to be completed within a variety of time frames.

  • Participating in SAFe PI Planning by breaking down the specific business requirement documents and adding functions and  technical details of work to be completed. 

  • Ensure details within Epics / Stories / Tasks are supporting business requirements and documented in Jira/Confluence appropriately.

  • Work closely and take ownership of relationships with third party vendors to provide them requirements, regular communication and ensure timely delivery of changes, coordinate testing and change management.

  • Interfaces with internal and external audiences and responds to product-related questions and requests.

  • Design and maintain release notes, create technical content and documentation.

  • Work closely with the Release Manager to add release notes and documentation where needed.

  • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.

  • Identify significant product, organizational, and process opportunities and drive them to fruition often without explicit direction and resourcing.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience managing technical program delivery using common (e.g. scrum, agile) management structures, with direct involvement in requirements analysis, documentation, quality assurance and resource allocation.

  • Sufficient technical competency to be able to work with a multi-disciplinary team on a variety of technical issues.

  • A solid understanding of sdlc and modern web-application technologies.

  • Experience working with the Financial Services industry in Product Management or Product Ownership capacity. 

  • Understanding of trading, securities, clearance, settlement and custody. 

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience working with internal and external development teams.

  • Demonstrable technical writing experience.

  • Experience working with regulated applications (Financial).

  • Bonus: Experience with security testing and auditing, load/performance testing and test automation would be beneficial.
