The Gist

Vim builds healthcare infrastructure for the real world. As a next-generation developer platform, Vim connects providers, payers, EHRs, and digital health innovators through a shared workflow layer that lives directly in the clinical moment. From enabling pre-charting, surfacing contextual insights and actionable data in-visit, and "closing the loop" at the end of the visit by supporting diagnosis, medication, and order write back, Vim brings intelligence to the point of care without disruption.

Joining Vim means being part of a team that’s rethinking how healthcare technology actually works in practice. We’re building the infrastructure that helps care teams move faster, developers build smarter, and health plans and provider organizations collaborate seamlessly. If you want to shape the future of healthcare connectivity and innovation, Vim is where you can do it.

The Team

Product

The Role

The Product Manager, VBC will own key components of Vim’s value-based care platform, driving discovery, prioritization, and delivery of features that support payer and provider partners. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, and customer-facing teams to define problems, shape solutions, and ensure successful execution. This role requires strong product fundamentals, systems thinking, comfort with data-heavy workflows, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and senior external stakeholders. You will thrive here if you enjoy bringing clarity to ambiguity, solving complex multi-stakeholder problems, and delivering products that meaningfully impact healthcare outcomes.

What you will do

  • Lead product discovery for AI-powered and automation-heavy workflows, translating customer and business needs into clear, outcome-focused and technically actionable requirements
  • Own and evolve the product roadmap
  • Work directly with payer and provider partners to understand real-world workflows and validate AI-driven solutions
  • Communicate priorities, technical trade-offs, and delivery timelines clearly across engineering, operations, and external stakeholders
  • Use data to evaluate product impact and to guide continuous improvement

Who we are looking for

  • 3–7+ years of product management experience within US healthcare building complex B2B SaaS products
  • Healthcare, value-based care, or EHR experience, or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in complex regulated domains
  • Experience working on products involving automation, decision support, ML-enabled features, or complex rules engines
  • Comfort operating in data-heavy domains such as claims, eligibility, quality measures, or performance analytics
  • Strong engineering fluency, demonstrated by the ability to reason about architecture, APIs, data flows, and system behavior
  • Proven ability to own products end-to-end, from discovery through delivery and iteration, with strong execution discipline across backlog management, prioritization, cross-functional alignment, and measurable outcomes
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and making product decisions with incomplete information
  • Clear, concise communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders

What is Nice to Have

  • AI-enabled healthcare product experience
  • Experience with APIs, enterprise integrations, or interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, etc.)
  • NYC-based with ability to work in-office on a hybrid schedule
