Founding product marketer who defines positioning, messaging, and GTM for an AI-powered CPG platform. Own product launches, customer insights, enablement, case studies, and integrated plans linking roadmap to marketing. Measured on deal velocity, win rate, influenced pipeline, launch impact, and enablement effectiveness.
The summary above was generated by AI

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.

If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

About the job

Most product marketers spend their careers making an average product sound better than it is. This role is the opposite.

We have built something rare: AI infrastructure that CPG teams genuinely love and will not give up. The stickiness is real, and category leaders keep choosing us. What we have not done yet is tell the world why we are better, and that gap is wide.

Today our positioning, customer proof, and competitive story are spread thin across the team. Our product is ahead of its story, and you close that gap. You own how our products show up in the market: how each area is positioned, why we win, and how we turn product and customer moments into demand. You power the GTM team with a story sharp enough to sell on, and you help define the category we are building.

This is a founding role. You are one of the first PMMs at Confido, here early enough to shape how the whole function works. Product Marketing reports to the VP of Marketing.

What You'll Own

You own strategy, programming, and the moments: what gets said, to whom, and where. This is a role for someone who wants to make the thing, not brief it out.

Own

  • Positioning, messaging, and narrative for the platform, sharpened as the product evolves

  • Product-market clarity: the ICP, buyer, user, jobs to be done, alternatives, and why customers expand

  • Product launches end to end: the plan, narrative, and cross-functional orchestration that turn new features into pipeline

  • The customer-insight engine: lightweight automations (Gong, HubSpot, Zapier) that turn calls and win/loss into the themes, quotes, and proof that feed positioning and competitive intel

  • GTM enablement: the battlecards, and messaging that arm reps to win

  • Case studies and customer proof, sourced, written, and deployed into Sales hands at the right moment

  • An integrated plan connecting the product roadmap to the marketing calendar across lifecycle, social, partnerships, AEO, and brand moments

How You're Measured

We measure product marketing on the pipeline it moves and the deals it wins, not on activity.

  • Deal velocity and win rate (primary). Sharp positioning and enablement move qualified deals faster and beat the alternatives more often

  • Influenced pipeline and its trajectory. Every deal maps to one of five motions: inbound, outbound, referral, partnerships, upsell. The signal that matters most is trajectory: the share of pipeline we build rather than rent, growing over time

  • Launch impact. New products are measured on adoption and the pipeline they generate, not on shipping

  • Enablement effectiveness. Reps are equipped, using your assets, and able to defend against competitors in live deals

What You'll Need
  • 7+ years in product marketing. This is a clear PMM role, and we want someone who has done the craft, not an adjacent function

  • Ideally in one of two worlds: CPG or commerce software, building the workflows our customers already live in, or B2B technology, where you translated genuinely complex products into clear entry points

  • Excellent writing and narrative instincts. You turn a complex product into sharp, credible positioning

  • Financial and quantitative fluency: comfortable reporting on pipeline influence and deal velocity

  • Strong cross-functional project management, and the judgment to build enough structure without slowing the work down

  • Willingness to work at our NYC Headquarters 5 days a week
