Workiva is seeking a Product Marketing Director, Global Growth Solutions to architect and lead the design and expansion of emerging use cases and solutions, from concept to launch. This highly cross-functional individual contributor role partners with leadership across the business to identify or strengthen market position, increase awareness, and generate demand for our industry-leading offerings.

As a full-stack growth marketer, this role will define opportunities, own business cases, execute strategic plans, and report on business impact. The Product Marketing Director, Global Growth Solutions will drive innovative product marketing strategies and act as a catalyst for change. 

What You’ll Do

  • Define and own  the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new markets, solutions, and use cases as part of a cross-functional growth and incubation teams

  • Present to executive leaders, providing regular insights and strategic recommendations that support platform and revenue growth

  • Measure and refine GTM performance, using data to improve messaging, content, and launch effectiveness

  • Create and execute GTM strategies for Workiva’s industry-specific platforms tailored to the unique needs of sectors like financial services, financial reporting, and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) that drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth 

  • Partner with Product Management, Sales, and Sales Operations to develop and implement product positioning and messaging that drives successful rollouts of sales enablement and support tools that empower the sales team

  • Lead the formulation of growth strategies with an emphasis on evaluating build, buy, and partner options to meet organizational goals Drive the strategic direction for growth, evaluating and championing new business opportunities with an emphasis on build, buy, and partner options to meet organizational goals

  • Evaluate potential partners and acquisitions, assessing both business and technology fit to secure opportunities that enhance the Workiva’s capabilities

  • Establish criteria for marketplace expansion including financial modeling, total addressable market (TAM), serviceable available market (SAM), and serviceable obtainable market (SOM) 

  • Partner with our Growth Solutions team to define and pitch new opportunities in alignment with Workiva’s idea-to-incubation (i2i) process 

  • Shape growth strategy by synthesizing market and industry trends, customer needs, and competitive intelligence to influence executive decision-making while driving the business towards product-market fit

  • Drive thought leadership through blogs, webinars, white papers, and speaking engagements that elevate Workiva’s credibility and visibility in the market

  • Consult with customers, alongside Product Management and Sales, to explore product and market opportunities within key industries, ensuring solutions reflect real-world challenges

  • Own and influence pricing and packaging strategies for industry solutions, aligning offers to customer value, market demand, and growth goals

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field

  • 10+ years experience in product marketing, or closely related fields, with an emphasis growth solutions

  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) tech marketing, with a preference for Software as a Service (SaaS) 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Deep understanding of the finance and accounting industry, business processes with familiarity with the systems and tools that power modern finance functions

  • Strong grasp of emerging trends like AI and data technologies reshaping the industry

  • Proficiency in defining, launching, and governing scalable solutions to support growth marketing strategy

  • Effective communication skills across all organizational levels, spanning from buyers and end-users to executive management

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity with a natural curiosity to uncover opportunities in new markets by leveraging new technology trends

  • Demonstrated success in collaborating and influencing cross-functional leadership teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, Enablement, and Customer Success

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to derive insights from data for decision-making

  • Proven ability to innovate and optimize business-driving strategies

  • Exceptional communication and program management skills 

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Minimum of 25% travel

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

How You’ll Be Rewarded

✅ Salary range in the US: $154,000.00 - $250,000.00

✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually

✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire

✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
