Lead go-to-market strategy for Spotify's podcast and video creator products. Define positioning, messaging, commercialization plans, and adoption goals. Spotify’s Podcast Creator Marketing team sits at the intersection of product, storytelling, and creator growth. We focus on helping podcast creators build audiences, grow their businesses, and succeed on Spotify. Working closely with partners across R&D, Marketing, and the broader business, we shape how creators understand and experience Spotify’s tools and opportunities. This is a high-impact team driving one of Spotify’s fastest-growing creator ecosystems.
In this role, you will lead the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new creator products and capabilities. You'll influence product strategy through close collaboration with the R&D and Insights teams, helping build tools that empower creators to grow their audiences and build sustainable careers on Spotify. You'll also partner with Creator Marketing, Communications, and Business teams to develop compelling product narratives and champion creator-focused initiatives across your product area.
What You'll Do
- Lead the end-to-end product marketing strategy for Spotify's core podcast and video creator capabilities, driving initiatives independently from concept through execution.
- Develop and communicate holistic go-to-market strategies for the core creator product portfolio, including product positioning, messaging, narrative, and commercialization plans.
- Define, track, and deliver against product adoption and growth goals, using data to measure success and optimize outcomes.
- Partner with Research and Insights teams to identify new opportunities through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and synthesis of qualitative creator feedback.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to influence the product roadmap and shape the overall product and marketing strategy.
Who You Are
- At least 7+ years of product marketing or marketing experience within tech, media or social media platforms. (Strong preference for someone with creator economy experience.)
- Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale.
- Experience driving product adoption through positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
- Strong ability to influence and collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Research, and Marketing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization.
- Highly organized, with experience managing multiple priorities across global teams.
- Passion for creators, podcasts, video, and digital platforms, with a strong understanding of market and industry trends
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in New York, New York.
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
- We ask that you come in 1-2 times per week.
The United States base range for this position is $132,030- $188,615, plus equity (plus bonus or commission. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays.
