About Harmonic

Every day, thousands of new companies are founded. Most will never matter. A few will change everything.

Harmonic helps startups get discovered by the investors, customers, partners, and talent that will change the trajectory of their company.

We are a living, breathing record of the innovation economy. Allowing our customers to understand who matters, what’s happening, where to look next, and how to make decisions.

We're doubling revenue annually, profitable, and backed with $30M from Craft, Floodgate, Sozo Ventures, and plenty of other industry leaders. We're committed to ensuring hundreds of billions of dollars find the right founders, so the innovations that matter most flourish. If that resonates, let's talk.

About the Team

The Growth team owns the Harmonic brand, product narrative, and marketing across all channels, inbound and outbound. The unit reports directly to the CEO and is the driving force behind us winning new multi-billion $ market segments.

Our job is to make Harmonic synonymous with startups. We help prospects and customers understand how to find and connect with the best ones, and get them excited about trying the platform.

We built our foundation serving the world’s best VCs. Now we’re going after corporates (a $100B+ industry), where innovation is a crucial board-level mandate. Most corporates see startups as the answer, whether it’s buying from them, partnering, hiring, investing, or acquiring…and they’re all on Harmonic.

What You'll Do

You will own product marketing end-to-end, which includes:

  • Defining the narrative that shows our target segments (i.e., investors, enterprise innovation, and GTM teams) what Harmonic's data and products make possible

  • Building the collateral (e.g., talk tracks, battle cards, and product documentation) so GTM can win new business and earn expansion

  • Owning product launches, including the relevant media mix and collateral, so every launch reaches the right people and showcases the value that Harmonic provides

Who You Are
  • 5-8 years in B2B marketing at a high growth company, including end-to-end ownership of product positioning and launches

  • Fluent in the whole marketing function. You know how positioning, demand, brand, and enablement feed each other

  • Your copy is plain, precise, and hard to misread, and you can adjust it across our different audiences

  • You have a high quality bar and would never ship slop

  • You obsess over understanding the true motivations of your audience and what they are trying to accomplish

  • Analytical but with a bias for action

  • You follow startups the way some people follow sports

  • Bonus: Experience marketing to investors, corporate development, or strategy teams

Our Process
  1. Hiring Manager Screen with Darri: 20 mins

  2. Meeting with Mike (Head of Sales) and Seth (Head of Product): 45 mins each

  3. Live Presentation: 90 mins

  4. Meeting with our CEO, Max: 30 mins
