Role Overview

The Product Marketing Manager will serve as the strategic link between Product Development, brand, and the consumer. This role is responsible for product portfolio management, go-to-market execution, and ongoing optimization across HealthyBaby’s product portfolio. They will evaluate the competitive landscape, develop pricing and positioning strategies, and ensure that every product and launch resonates with parents and caregivers. By blending analytical rigor with creative storytelling, the Product Marketing Manager will help HealthyBaby continue to lead the category in safety, transparency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Portfolio Management
    • Manage the overall product portfolio, ensuring balance across categories, lifecycle stages, and consumer needs.
    • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to identify category trends, white-space opportunities, and potential threats.
    • Develop and refine pricing strategies based on consumer insights, market benchmarks, and margin requirements. Incorporate AI into competitive analysis, pricing simulations, and portfolio optimization.
    • Collaborate with Founder and Product Development on pipeline prioritization and new product concept development, ensuring alignment with brand mission and consumer demand.
       
  • Go-to-Market Strategy
    • Create launch strategies for new products and innovations, including positioning, messaging, channel plans, and promotional tactics.
    • Build retail forecast guidance for sales channels.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product Development, Creative, Influencer and Social, Sales, Finance, Operations) to deliver on-time and successful product launches.
    • Build and execute retail marketing strategy for omni-channel retailers. Develop any collateral needed for launch.
       
  • Messaging & Storytelling
    • Craft differentiated product narratives alongside Content Strategist for packaging, digital, retail, and sales enablement materials.
    • Ensure that product messaging consistently highlights HealthyBaby’s mission of authenticity, health-first, science-led, and trust.
       
  • Performance & Optimization
    • Establish KPIs for product and portfolio performance, analyzing sales velocity, profitability, and consumer feedback.
    • Partner with Digital Marketing to refine product messaging and retention strategies. 
    • Outline share of market targets.
       
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Product Development on pipeline concepts, bringing consumer perspective into early-stage development.
    • Partner with Sales/Commercial Director on retail sell-in, pricing, and merchandising strategies.
       
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5–8 years of experience in product marketing, brand management, or category management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing product portfolios and developing pricing/positioning strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for both internal and consumer-facing audiences.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to support market research, product positioning, and consumer insights.
  • Experience in consumer goods (ideally babycare, health & wellness, or beauty).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to balance strategic thinking and execution.
  • Curious, creative problem-solver who identifies unconventional opportunities.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists.
