The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Product Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market for one of Flock Safety’s core hardware product lines. This is a high-impact, deeply cross-functional role at the intersection of Product, Marketing, and Revenue. You’ll define how the product is positioned and understood in the market, and ensure that narrative shows up consistently across launches, campaigns, and sales enablement.

This role is responsible for understanding the needs of our customers and shaping how the product experience and story come together across channels. It helps define what we bring to market, how we talk about it, and when — from feature launches to broader platform moments — while maintaining a clear, cohesive narrative that resonates with both public and private sector buyers. As Flock continues to evolve its platform, this role ensures our product storytelling reflects where we’re going and why we win.

The Skillset

  • 4-6 years of product marketing experience at a technology company, ideally in a fast-growing, high-change environment

  • Demonstrated ability to partner closely with product, marketing, and sales to bring products and features to market

  • Experience owning end-to-end go-to-market execution, including positioning, messaging, launches, and GTM-ready assets

  • The ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, customer-centered value

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a scrappy, adaptable approach and bias toward action

  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, paired with a collaborative mindset

  • Experience marketing hardware and/or hardware-plus-software subscription products

90 Days at Flock

We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days lead to good weeks, which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Build a deep understanding of the end-to-end hardware and software experience for your product line, including current gaps and constraints

  • Review existing positioning, messaging, sales assets, and campaigns tied to the product

The First 60 Days

  • Define or refine clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for your product line

  • Align Product and Sales around that narrative and embed it into priority GTM assets

90 Days & Beyond

  • Fully own the go-to-market strategy for your product line and operate as its GTM lead

  • Influence roadmap, packaging, and pricing decisions using customer insight and competitive context

Salary & Equity

In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary between $100,000 and $135,000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators. Your recruiter will discuss this in-depth with you during our first chat.
