We are looking for an experienced product marketer that is curious, a self-starter, and ready to roll up their sleeves to make an impact on the Numerator business. As a Product Marketing Manager, you will help grow Numerator's revenue by becoming a trusted partner of product management, sales, marketing and services teams through your knowledge of our products, deep customer/prospect understanding, and ability to distill crisp value-oriented stories from complex information.

Core Responsibilities

As Product Marketing Manager, you will help grow Numerator revenue by providing:

  • Customers with clear, compelling information on products
  • Sales with the required positioning, training, sales tools, and customer tools
  • Marketing with information on our products and product-related materials to support our integrated marketing plans
  • Product teams with partnership on developing product positioning, communication, and program materials

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop product messaging that differentiates new products from others in the market
  • Plan and take part in the launch of new products, working with product management and other departments
  • Create product content such as case studies, videos, website copy, and blog posts
  • Communicate the value of new products to the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process
  • Brief other marketing teams on product development and new products
  • Own existing customer communication (e.g., for new features/functions, sunsetting, etc.) and partner with customer success on training as needed
  • Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities, and buyer personas through competitive research, sales data, product usage, etc.
  • Do primary research on competitor messaging and work with product management to understand competitive product and service offerings
  • Speak and present about products to external and internal audiences as required
  • Support new product testing
  • Manage external product perception e.g., in product review forums (G2Crowd)

Key Skills

  • Collaborative skills: Work with teams across the organization, including sales, marketing, engineering, product management, press, and senior executives.
  • Communication skills: Both speaking and writing abilities need to be top notch. You will frequently have to present about new products and write engaging copy, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing channels.
  • Research skills: Gain insight into customer needs and experiences through analysis of data, surveys, and customer interviews.
  • Content creation skills: Be comfortable whipping up a PowerPoint Deck or one pager and/or partnering with our design team on formal assets including presentations, vidoes, webpages, etc.

If this sounds like something you would like to be part of, we'd love for you to apply! Don't worry if you think that you don't meet all the qualifications here. The tools, technology and methodologies we use are constantly changing and we value talent and interest over specific experience.
