Product Operations EngineerAbout the Role

We're looking for a Product Operations Engineer to own user research, proactive user engagement, and the data operations that help us build better products faster. This is a hands-on role where you'll conduct user interviews, build systems to identify opportunities in our user base, maintain data quality, and make direct product improvements. You'll have the autonomy to identify what needs to be done and the technical chops to do it yourself.

Key ResponsibilitiesUser Research & Engagement
  • Own end-to-end user research: recruit participants, conduct interviews, synthesize findings into actionable improvements.
  • Build tooling to identify and reach users at key activation moments (e.g., first live robot, published module).
  • Drive improvements to completion.
Data Operations & Insights
  • Maintain data hygiene and build dashboards that surface actionable insights.
  • Track product health metrics, activation funnels, and usage patterns.
  • Maintain product usage pipeline and CRM data.
Product Contributions & Tooling
  • Make direct product improvements: enrich metadata, fix UX friction, update documentation.
  • Write code to build internal tools, automate workflows, and improve team productivity.
  • Identify gaps and ship solutions independently.
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 3-5+ years in product operations, user research, or analytics roles.
  • Experience conducting and synthesizing qualitative user research.
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach and talking to users regularly.
  • Coding ability to build tools and queries with LLM assistance.
  • Self-starter who identifies problems and executes solutions independently.
  • Strong communication skills to translate user feedback into product requirements.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in developer tools, robotics, or B2B SaaS.
  • Background in PLG or growth operations.
  • DevRel or technical community management experience.
What Success Looks Like
  • First 90 days: Establish regular research cadence, build your first user identification system, ship product improvements from research insights.
  • First 6 months: Become the go-to source for "what are users actually experiencing?" and drive measurable improvements in activation and product quality.

The estimated salary range for this role is 120-190k.
