Broadridge is hiring a Product Owner! The Product Owner is responsible for owning and prioritizing the product backlog for one or more areas within the iJoin platform, translating product strategy and market needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams. This role requires a strong understanding of digital product delivery and the ability to operate effectively in the retirement industry, where user engagement, compliance considerations, data accuracy, and client customization are all critical.

The ideal candidate has experience delivering SaaS or digital platform capabilities, is comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, and can balance strategic context with hands-on execution. Experience working with recordkeeping systems such as FIS Relius & OMNI, either directly or through extensive integrations, is a must in this role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Own, manage, and continuously prioritize the backlog for assigned iJoin products or platform capabilities

  • Translate business objectives, client needs, participant engagement goals, and product strategy into epics, features, and user stories

  • Create detailed requirements and acceptance criteria that enable engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-quality functionality

  • Partner with Product Management to align backlog priorities with roadmap goals, client needs, and market opportunities in the retirement space

  • Work closely with engineering, QA, UX/design, data, and implementation teams to prepare sprint-ready work and ensure shared understanding

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day product decision-maker for the scrum team

  • Support the delivery of capabilities across areas such as participant communications, digital enrollment journeys, retirement readiness engagement, plan education, personalization, reporting, and administrative workflows

  • Ensure retirement industry requirements, business rules, and operational processes are accurately reflected in product requirements

  • Help balance configurable client-specific needs with broader platform scalability and product consistency

  • Validate completed work against requirements and acceptance criteria and support release readiness

  • Collaborate with client success, implementation, operations, and sales teams to gather feedback and continuously improve product functionality

  • Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and process gaps early and proactively drive resolution

  • Use customer feedback, usage data, and operational insights to improve prioritization and feature definition

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of product delivery practices, requirement quality, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager, or similar product delivery role

  • Experience owning and prioritizing a product backlog in an Agile/Scrum software development environment

  • Proven ability to translate business and client requirements into clear user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria

  • Comprehensive experience working in and around recordkeeping systems, in particular FIS Relius and/or OMNI a must

  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams to deliver web-based or SaaS products

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar product delivery platforms

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and make informed trade-off decisions

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Experience in the retirement, financial wellness, wealth management, employee benefits, or broader financial services industry

  • Familiarity with retirement plan participant journeys, enrollment experiences, plan communications, or engagement programs

  • A comprehensive understanding of recordkeeper, advisor, employer, or plan sponsor ecosystems

  • Experience working with configurable SaaS platforms and client-specific implementations

  • Familiarity with regulated product environments, data privacy requirements, and audit-conscious delivery practices

  • Experience working with API integrations, data exchanges, reporting, or platform interoperability

  • Hands-on experience with the iJoin platform is a definite plus

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification

  • Experience supporting B2B2C digital solutions

  • Strong ownership mindset and accountability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to simplify complex business processes into actionable product requirements

  • Strong collaboration skills across business, client, and technical teams

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to keep broader product and business outcomes in view

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, client-driven environment

  • Customer-focused, pragmatic, and outcome-oriented

  • Interest in improving retirement engagement and participant outcomes through digital experiences

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $135,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, international locations and education.
