ABOUT THE ROLE

At Happy Money, we're on a mission to transform people's relationships with their money by helping borrowers become savers. Our core product, Payoff.com, has helped hundreds of thousands of people get out of their spiraling credit card debt and on the path to saving. We value love, trust, and hustle.

Happy Money is looking for a Director of Product Management to lead our API & Platform teams. This product pillar includes our financial solutions APIs for our partners, our internal infrastructure, and our data platform. In this role, you will be critical to defining our product vision and strategy, collaborating with engineering and product leadership to drive execution, and managing a team of world-class Product Managers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO IN THIS ROLE

• Build, mentor, and lead an outstanding team of Product Managers
• Establish the product vision, strategy, metrics, and goals for the API & Platform teams
• Define and deliver compelling product roadmaps based on partner and internal needs, as well as strategic opportunities
• Build alignment across product teams and cross-functional leaders through clear communication and strategic influence
• Partner with functions across the company (Engineering and Design, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Risk) peers to execute on the plan
• Connect the dots across experiences and teams to create a cohesive customer experience
• Implement best in class product development and management practices
• Communicate concisely and influence outcomes

ABOUT YOU

• 7+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years of working on developer-facing products and/or internal technology platforms.
• 3+ years experience building, mentoring, and leading a world-class team of Product Managers and delivering business results.
• Experience inspiring and managing a team remotely.
• Strong track record of product leadership and end-to-end ownership.
• Strong track record of scaling a product function and team.
