Click is progressing a broad pipeline of Digital Therapeutics across a variety of high-burden therapeutic areas, including Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Schizophrenia, Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Chronic Pain, Insomnia, COPD, Obesity, and more.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a Design Director who is passionate about growing a team of talented designers creating products that improve health outcomes for patients. You’ll lead a team that works closely with product, engineering, and science to develop digital therapeutics that address health conditions millions of people live with every day. You will take a leadership role in improving every part of our product design process, identifying and championing the practices and processes that infuse the patient voice and human-centered design throughout product development, and empowering our design teams to do their best work every day. You’ll bring a strong mix of design-thinking methodology, human-centered design techniques, and strong design operations skills providing both mentorship and people management to our growing team.
This is a highly visible, creative, and agile role with a pre-IPO company in a nascent and fast-growing space. The role is located in our Tribeca HQ.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership from product management, engineering, science, and marketing to define the vision for our products
- Manage design teams across the Click product portfolio establishing the processes, practices, and culture to empower teams to build effective, efficacious, and delightful products.
- Practice and evangelize patient-centric thinking in the design of new digital therapeutics that improve the health of Click’s patients
- Partner with leadership from product management, engineering, science to strategize and execute on a design system
- Recruit talented designers for your team
- Coach and mentor designers on the skills to help them further develop and achieve their long term career goals
- Build a culture that elevates the team’s performance and morale.
- Establish processes which increase the team’s effectiveness
- Play a lead role in enhancing existing products and designing new digital therapies that improve the health of Click’s patients
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a product designer
- 4+ years of experience managing design teams and product designers in a consumer products setting
- Experience designing and shipping consumer-facing mobile applications
- Experience working in a lean, startup environment
- Ability to think and design holistically to create a cohesive product experience
- Strong conceptual, visual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong desire to drive continuous improvement to processes and workflows
- Proficiency in design tools, such as Sketch, Abstract, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with the Agile Scrum development methodology
